melody was the first of the Beatles' 'reunion' tracks. With an
extended middle section, overdubbed guitar, bass, drums, vocals
and a ukelele, it rose to #2 in the charts, heralding a second
Beatlemania of sorts. "It's a beautiful song. I feel that the new
production of [it] was a great success, and it has given so much
love, inspiration and excitement to people all over the world.
